Guys are not like women when it comes to friendships. They don't go out of their way to pursue them, and close friendships tend to be few and far between. At least, that's my husband's case. We've lived here for 6 years, and just recently Phil has been spending time w/ Jim. It all started over a common interest in honeybees, than wine making, and now hunting. Jim's wife called to apologize for the time they spend together, but I don't mind. It's long overdue. Jim & Phil went hunting last night, the last night of gun season, and Phil got this buck.



Women bond over movies and chocolate. Men bond over guns and dead animals. We may have different ways of going about it, but we both need people that understand and can relate to us. Jim & Phil will come up with plenty of crazy ideas in the future between the two of them, but at least they're having a good time, growing a friendship.
